By road (as if coming from London): take the A12 eastwards past Chelmsford. On reaching Colchester, take the exit onto the A120 towards Harwich and Clacton.
After a few miles take the exit onto the A133 , at the Frating roundabout take the first exit towards Clacton, Weeley and Frinton. On reaching the Weeley roundabouts keep left on the B1033 towards Thorpe, Frinton and Walton. Follow the B1033 road through Thorpe, straight on at the mini roundabout. Keep straight on for a couple of miles of countryside. Turn right into Pork Lane, opposite the turning is a big house called 'The Firs'. If you get to Kirby Cross you have gone too far.
Continue along Pork Lane for 1 mile ( 1 sharp bend, then a railway crossing, a second sharp bend). The farm shop is located and signed on the third sharp bend.
For sat navs enter CO13 0ES. The sat nav may say you have reached your destination a couple of hundred metres before you actually have.
By rail: The farm is 1 mile from Kirby Cross railway station, which is a small branch off the main Liverpool St, London line to Clacton -on-sea. The train may go directly to Kirby on some occasions. Normally, though, you will need to change at Thorpe-le-soken. Take the connection to Walton, Kirby is the first stop. When the ground is dry...there is a good footpath link from the station to the Farm.
Cross the railway line at the front end of the train onto the pedestrian footpath, and leave the station through the kissing gates on the south side. Follow the footpath for about 200yds towards some houses and a road. At the junction of the road, turn right along the track called 'Prospect Park' walk along this, past the houses and into the countryside for about 600yrds to the end where the farm will be waiting.
When the paths are too wet, there is a slightly longer route by road. On the main road, after exiting the station drive, turn right. At the mini roundabout turn right and walk under the railway bridge. Follow the road towards Gt. Holland village for about 1/2 mile. Ignore the side turnings, i.e. Prospect Park, Westbury Lane, Green End Lane. At a very sharp left bend in the main road, turn down Pork Lane, sharply to the right. Walk down Pork Lane for about 1/2 mile. The farm is on the first sharp bend.
By Bus: Take the bus to Gt.Holland Village (they run regularly between Clacton , Kirby, Frinton & Walton). Get off the bus at Gt.Holland 'Green', i.e. at the junction of the end of Pork Lane, the Cresent, with the main road. The farm is 1/2 mile along Pork Lane on the first sharp bend.
